Common Questions.
What is a dynamic subscriber tag?
A dynamic tag (or merge tag) is a placeholder used by Email Service Providers (ESPs). When your email is sent, the ESP replaces this placeholder with the actual subscriber's data, such as their email address or unique ID.
Which email platforms do you support?
We currently support one-click tag generation for Mailchimp, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, SendGrid, Substack, and Beehiiv. You can also create custom parameters for other platforms.
How does this improve tracking?
By appending a dynamic tag to your BlinkURLs, you can see exactly *who* clicked your link in your analytics dashboard, rather than just seeing a generic 'Email' traffic source.
Is this GDPR compliant?
Yes. The dynamic tags only pass data between your ESP and your BlinkURLs workspace. Ensure your privacy policy reflects that you track individual link clicks.
